Outerstack, LLC (“Outerstack”, “we”) runs outerstack.com and smith.outerstack.com, including Smith, our AI agent, which answers our website chat, our phone line and our text messages. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

  • What you tell us: your name, company, email, phone number, and what you write or say in a chat, call or text with Smith or our team.
  • Conversations: chat transcripts, call recordings and transcripts, and text messages, so our team can follow up and so we can improve Smith.
  • Smith demos: the public website you ask Smith to read. If you choose to, a short voice recording used to make a temporary voice clone for your demo call. We don't keep the raw recording, and the clone is deleted within 24 hours.
  • Technical information: such as IP address and browser details, used for security and to prevent abuse.

We don't use advertising cookies or trackers. Our chat keeps your conversation in your browser's local storage so it follows you from page to page.

How we use it

To answer you, schedule calls, follow up on your request, run and improve our services, and keep them secure. We do not sell personal information.

Text messages (SMS)

If you text Smith at (314) 888-2450, we use your number only to reply to you about your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers

We use service providers to run our services, for example Telnyx for calls and texts, Deepgram for speech recognition, Google for our calendar and Cloudflare to deliver our websites. They process information only on our behalf. Smith's language model runs on our own servers.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above. You can delete a Smith demo from its page at any time, or ask us to delete your information.
